On the boundary of London’s 2012 Olympic Stadium there’s a place called Hackney Wick, East London – where you will find some great ‘arty’ backgrounds all over brick buildings. I invited Barbara, a student from France to this location as she has very ‘arty’ short hair with tattoos to match the street urban look I was after. This building is in fact a disused pub. For this shoot, three off camera flashes were used, soft box and some red gel. I wanted the gel to warm things up and to highlight the colour of the wall even more!
