During my trip to the annual NEC Photography Show 2015 in Birmingham I had a chat with the guys from G Technology . I do have two external hard drives: G Tech. 1tb for work photographs and a 500mb Toshiba for personal photographs etc and I also use Dropbox. I am paranoid about saving images so I decided to go for G Tech. drives as they are the industry standard, expensive but reliable… at least as reliable as a hard drive can be – they will fail when you least expect! So I went with two 4tb drives, one that mirrors the other, my 1tb drive I now use for a Time Machine back up – which I love, such a great invention from Apple – and finally my 500gb Toshiba for personal photographs. I sleep easier at night now. I also bought the Rogue FlashBender 2 which I used in this shot – I left the reflection in for you to see – the grid for more directional light is such a great addition.
