A PRINT FROM THE BOOK ‘A TIME TO FIGHT’ A very special limited to one single print only – Ted Adcook – signed on the bottom right in a bronze metallic Sharpie.
Ted was born in 1918 and initially joined the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment then was transferred to the Queen’s Royal Regiment. He was deployed into the North African Campaign and then moving onto Salerno , Italy where during a bitter fight was captured and classed as a POW. Ted was then put onto a cattle wagon train through the mountains of the Brenner Pass in the Alps where he finally arrived at his POW camp. When the Germans knew the allies were closing in, Ted and many thousands of prisoners were forced to march hundreds of miles – when eventually Ted heard the war was over.
