Kew photo shoot: RDA PHOTOGRAPHY had an empty Tuesday and advertised on Facebook for a lucky follower to take up an opportunity to have some portfolio images taken.

Nancy from Italy took this offer and arrived bright and early, a newcomer to the game of ‘fashion shoots’ but very eager to learn and take instruction – like a natural.

It turned out the weather was against us, so an indoor shoot outdoors was needed, luckily I had that covered – literally with a brick tunnel underneath a bridge which takes the trains to and from London over the river Thames. The lack of light in the tunnel is ideal as my speed lights work well without having to compete against natural sunlight. Then as the rain came and went we relocated to Chiswick bridge which has just been refurbished and the stone work looks amazing – perfect for a shoot.
