New York

New York

I generally head to New York in the hot summer months, but always wanted to see the city at Christmas. New York at Christmas is cold but very magical, especially with the children, just seeing their faces light up – it’s what Christmas is all about. Of course  we had to see the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. This image was tricky, as you need a steady hand to get the movement of the passing cars and I also needed to be careful not to get run down by the fast and furious Famous Yellow Cab – I survived… just!

I thought the city landscape would work well with an antique look filter, but on this shot of the Guggenheim Museum (one of my favourite images), I have pushed the yellow levels above everything else to emphasise this famous american icon.
