Kew is a favourite place for me to take portraits, not only because of the beauty and tranquility but as it’s right on my doorstep and it’s a great environment to shoot as it puts everyone at ease and shows through my work… at least that’s what I think.  I also use off camera flash to add some light & shade to add a moody atmosphere and to create a story. So here are some shots from my latest shoot: model is Luisa Garrido from Spain who wanted some shots for her portfolio. As a photographer your job is to take the shot but you also need to talk to your model, make them feel at ease in their surroundings.
